CCM hosting our First Annual Door Decorating Contest

The fall weather is FINALLY here! The theme of the contest is Fall Harvest and Thanksgiving. Let's have some fun and decorate for the fall season. Contest is open to every office and department teams or individual employees. Everyone is encouraged to join in.

If you wish to participate, simply send an e-mail to rragany-bayer@ccm.edu so we know who is included and should be included in the judging. Please include the name of your team, names of your teammates and the building/room number of the door to be decorated. Don't have a door? Feel free to decorate your cubicle. Departments and individuals can submit entries and are reminded to obtain the support of supervisors and abide by building policies.

Participants may bring items from home to use as decorations; this activity is all about being creative and having fun. No need to spend a lot of money.

Participants must adhere to the following rules:

Door decorating may begin on Monday, October 23rd. To be eligible to win a prize, your door must be decorated and be registered to enter the contest

by November 10th. Electrical lights are not allowed (battery operated lights can be used) Decorations may not obstruct or prevent easy access to the office Do not damage door/surrounding wall/cubicle Employees must obtain supervisor approval of any time used to decorate the door/cubicle. Door decorating should not disrupt an employee's job responsibilities. All fall decorations should be removed by Friday, December 1st.

Decorated doors will be evaluated on the following criteria: Visual Impact, Craftsmanship, Originality and Theme. Voting will take place during the week of November 13th and the winners will be announced on "FunDay Friday", the 17th and breakfast for the winning team will be on the following "Titan Tuesday", November 21st. Aside from college-wide bragging rights, the winning entry will receive:

Individual door/cubicle ? 1st Place - $15 gift card to Panera Bread Team/department door ? 1st Place ? breakfast brought to the office to the winning team
