Installing the Slate Outlook Add-In

Slate provides an add-in for Outlook that will allow you to import emails received outside of Slate to the applicant's timeline. The installation process can vary based on your individual machine. You will need administrator access to install the add-in. If you have any issues, please contact the IT desktop support specialist who manages your computer.

1. Click on the Database icon ( ) on the far right of the header row. 2. Under Messages in the second row on the far right, find Microsoft Outlook Add-in. Right-click

and "Save Link as". 3. Find where you saved it in Windows Explorer and right click to "Run as administrator". Follow

the steps to install. 4. Close Outlook and reopen it. Check the ribbon for Add-Ins and click on it.

5. Click on 6. When asked for the domain, type in grad.catalyst.uc.edu 7. Sign in.

Using the Outlook Add-In

1. Click once on the email you want to import into Slate so that it is highlighted.

2. Click on Add-Ins and then 3. A window will open up. If Slate matches the email to a record in Slate, it will prepopulate here
