Outlook Integration with The Conveyancer

General Notes:

This feature will create calendar items in Microsoft Outlook for each upcoming requisition date, closing date and occupancy date (if applicable) that has been identified in The Conveyancer. The synchronizing is one-way only; from The Conveyancer into Outlook. Any changes to synchronized calendar items in Outlook will not be reflected in The Conveyancer. Available as a download from the website or as part of a new install or upgrade to version 11.0P and higher versions. Installation is performed per computer, meaning that an install is required on every copy of the Conveyancer in your office. Not available for Projects. Once installed a "Conveyancer" menu item will be created in Outlook. All configuration settings are accessed from within this menu item:

Compatibility/Supported Versions

The Conveyancer Outlook integration add-on is compatible with the following Microsoft operating systems and versions of Outlook: Windows XP and Outlook 2003 Windows XP and Outlook 2007 Windows Vista and Outlook 2007 Windows 7 and Outlook 2007

To Install the Outlook Integration Add-on:

As part of a new install - Upon opening The Conveyancer software for the first time you will be given an option to

install the Outlook Integration add-on.

Install directly from - Current users of the Conveyancer can install the Outlook Integration add-on from the Do

Process website. - Go to outlookaddon - Select the `Download Now' button - Follow the installation instructions as prompted As part of an upgrade of The Conveyancer

- Upon opening the The Conveyancer software for the first time after upgrading, you will be

given an option to install the Outlook Integration add-on.

From within The Conveyancer - For users who have updated to version 11.0P or higher, the Outlook Integration add-on can be

installed directly from within The Conveyancer. - From the `Updates' menu select `Install Outlook Integration Add-on' and then follow the

instructions.

Controlling the interaction between the Conveyancer and Outlook

Configuration Access to the configuration options is done in Outlook via the `Conveyancer' menu item. Select the `Options' sub-menu item:

When selected the following screen appears:

"The Conveyancer" data directory

- In this section you will identify the folder in which your Conveyancer data is located. If you are unsure where your data resides, please contact Do Process customer service for assistance at 416 322 6111 or 1-866-367-7648

Synchronization Type - There are two options to select from

o Manual ? user initiated synchronization (performed by selecting the "Synchronize" sub-menu item in The Conveyancer drop down menu in Outlook.

o Automatic ? Synchronization occurs every time you open MS Outlook. - The default synchronization is `Manual'.

Synchronize entries between the following dates - Outlook calendar items will be created for any Requisition, Closing and Occupancy date

within the date range specified. Type of dates to synchronize - This setting allows you to select the dates to be synchronized; requisition dates, closing dates

and occupancy dates. Reminder - Allows you to set a reminder notification for each calendar item created in Outlook. As a

default this is set to `none'.

How To Manually Synchronize

- Confirm your configuration settings in the Options sub-menu. - Select the `Synchronize' sub-menu item within The Conveyancer drop down menu in

Outlook.

How to Remove Synchronized Calendar items from Outlook

Removing all synchronized calendar items - From within Microsoft Outlook, select the `Remove all Calendar Entries' sub-menu item:

Removing a single calendar item - Right mouse click on the calendar item and select `Delete'.

Removing an item that does not have a corresponding record/date in The Conveyaner - Select the `Delete Orphaned records' option

How to Uninstall the Outlook Integration

Note: if you also want to remove any calendar entries, you should do so prior to uninstalling the add-on by selecting the `Remove all Calendar Entries' sub-menu item from the `Conveyancer' menu item in Outlook.

To uninstall the integration add-on: - Click on the `Start' menu item on your computer's desktop - Go to `Control Panel' - Select `Add or Remove Programs' and a list of all installed programs will be displayed

- Select the `change/remove' button on the `Conveyancer Outlook Integration' program line.
