The role holder will be a Marketing Communications specialist with experience in managing creative development through from concept to delivery. They will ensure that all communications are consistent with brand guidelines, segment specific and appropriate corporate messaging whilst also being engaging and informative to the member. They will oversee campaign progression from inception through to production, delivery and review.They will manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, agencies and the internal digital, design and insight teams.The role will encompass the full marketing communications mix, delivering integrated marketing campaigns and utilising online and offline channels.RESOURCES MANAGEMENTManagement responsibility for: No direct reportsReports to: Marketing and Communications ManagerBudgetary/financial framework: Work collaboratively across the Marketing Communications team within the budgetary framework.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTo own the delivery of a complex programme of member-facing communications for the organisation’s leading strategic projects and oversee all aspects of those campaigns effectively and efficiently, taking them from conception through to post campaign review.Manage and develop the communications creation and development process in line with brand guidelines and key brand-, segment-, and project-specific communication objectives.Manage the development, implementation, tracking and measurement of key marketing campaigns for strategic business projects from inception through to delivery and post-activity review.Development (and delivery) of a detailed and extensive plan to deliver a significant number of campaigns across multiple segments and target audiences to a strict timescale and within a set budget.Brief and oversee the work of internal and external agencies, such as designers, illustrators and printers, mailing houses etc.Ensure brand consistency across all communication material.Build a truly member-facing approach to all communications, delivering on brand targets, business objectives and member expectations.Work within a specified budget and manage the tracking and reporting of budget spend.Ensure all communications deliver against project objectives and comply with regulatory and legal requirements.Proactive use of multiple marketing channels to improve customer interaction such as email marketing, PPC, social media and PRResearching competitor activity and developmentsAnalysis and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing communications activities, recommending areas for improvementCo-ordination of agency support across the rosterDevelop close relationships with key internal stakeholders in Marketing and Business Development to understand key requirements in long-term plans and support in the delivery of innovative communications solutions.Build a Marketing Communications hub for internal knowledge sharingSupport Internal Comms to drive colleague awareness and engagementMAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSON SPECIFICATIONEducation/Qualifications/Training:Degree educated or equivalent Marketing qualification preferred (e.g. CIM)Specific Experience:RequiredOver 3 years’ marketing communications and campaign management experience Budget management experienceManaging external agency relationshipsAbility to prioritise and manage workloadsDesiredExperience of working in health, financial services or professional services sector.A proven track record of delivering campaign results.Strong commercial acumen and business planning skills.Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:A driven individual who wants to succeed with every opportunity presented.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Extensive campaign management and delivery skills.Strong time and project management skills – ability to prioritise own work schedule, work independently and under own initiative.Ability to work within the regulatory environment in which the business operates.
