Roman Timeline Project - Weebly

Roman Timeline Project

Due Date ____________

You will be creating a digital timeline showing the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Use your notes, your book, and the internet or library research to label and describe the events that occurred on the years listed.

You and your partner will need to complete the Roman Timeline worksheet and have it approved by your teacher before you begin work on your PowerPoint. You will also need to do outside research and save pictures on a flashdrive that will be used for each event. There will be NO Internet research during class except for searching for pictures. You and your partner work on Internet during the morning and afternoon depending on you teacher’s availability.

For each of the following events, label the event with the information below (be sure to include the year). On each slide, write two-three sentences using your own words to explain the importance of the event (what was the end result). Your teacher will explain how this will be accomplished. Connect each event to its appropriate place and date on the timeline. All events need at least 2 pictures. Your teacher will provide you with a template to create your timeline on PowerPoint. Keep your transitions subtle – no audio allowed.
