Position Duties and Responsibilities: The Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence is looking for a Program Manager/Senior Program Specialist (position of title in development) to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive prevention and response to adolescent relationship abuse and sexual assault statewide initiative and a national technical assistance initiative for OVW Rural grantees. Candidates should be able to work flexibly, adaptively, and creatively, and have a passion for our mission to engage voices to create change in the prevention, intervention, and response to domestic violence, dating abuse, stalking, and sexual assault.

The Program Manager/Senior Program Specialist should be firmly grounded in the work to end violence and oppression that are a result of social structures of domination, have strong community organizing expertise, be excited at the prospect of growing with our organization.

In addition, candidates should also be welcome the opportunity to be a thought partner and team member to a small, but exceptional staff.

This position requires an individual who likes leading and working in a team, can maintain multiple responsibilities, and can stay on top of information and tasks in a fast-paced organization.

Core Competencies ? Minimum ten years of experience in prevention and response to gender-based violence or

other social justice or other applicable work with a preference for candidates who have mentored and/or worked directly with young people or issues related to young people. ? Excellent research, writing, editing, and product development skills and ability to create evidence-based strategies and content for capacity building tools.. ? Facilitation of committees and development of partnerships; coordination and implementation of initiatives. ? Demonstrated success in organizing, strategizing, implementing, mobilizing, and identifying victories on organizing campaigns or policy work, or communications strategies. ? Inspirational presence, adaptable and flexible leadership, and enthusiasm for the Idaho Coalition's mission and vision. ? Ability to demonstrate shared leadership, an understanding of different learning styles, strong self-care ethic, respect for diversity, ethical and responsible, experience managing others, public speaking skills, positive thinking, willingness to be vulnerable and embracing a culture of feedback and authentic conversations and active listening skills. ? Excellent individual and group rapport-building and communication skills (written and verbal) in a range of relationships and environments, including co-workers, colleagues in the field, youth, program participants, parents, health and human services professionals, teachers, school leaders, and other key stakeholders. ? Excellent time management, project management, and delegation skills.

Qualifications and Experience ? The successful candidate should see themself as an organizer in the movement to end

violence against women and girls, men and boys. ? Bachelor's level or higher (Master's or higher preferred) in either Social Work, Psychology,

Public Health, Public Policy, Public Interest Law, Women's Studies, Communications or other related field preferred, and five years of significant, related community organizing or gender-based violence experience in aforementioned area ? Ability to work with diverse people, communities, and cultures, with understanding of culturally competent practices. ? Minimum of 2 years of project or grant oversight experience preferred. ? Highly organized and excellent oral and written communication skills. ? Strong computer skills (particularly Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). ? Experience training on a state or national level ? Experience in policy research and state-level or national organizing strategies preferred.

Compensation and Benefits ? Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience including full health

care benefits and paid vacation. ? An ability to create social change in your community, state and the country. ? Position is exempt, full-time, and reports to the Director of Strategic Innovations.

Directors work with the Executive Director to supervise program staff and assist in the development and implementation of the Coalition's program activities. The team approach facilitates the sharing of power and responsibilities across positions and reflects the Coalition's commitment to inclusion and leadership development.
