Student Council Food Drive

This year because the Bethlehem Bash was cancelled due to the

Coronavirus, Student Council has come up with an alternative way to

collect food donations. Student Council will run a food drive with a class

incentive. The classes that fill their boxes will be able to pick a box with a

prize inside. The following are items needed by Social Ministry's and other

area food banks. This food drive will run the month of November (24th):

3K - Toilet paper (in package)

4K - Toilet paper (in package)

5K - Boxes of Cereal

1st - Granola bars

2nd - Toothpaste

3rd - Dish Soap / Hand Soap

purchased for $20 each. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook,

please complete the order form and return with payment to the school

office by Monday, November 16. We do not order extra yearbooks o to

ensure that your student receives one make sure your order and

payments are in by the 16th.

1st quarter will beheld Wednesday, November 11 and Thursday,

November 12 from 3:30 - 8:00 pm.

To schedule your conferences with your child(s) teacher(s) log in to your

Sycamore account and access the conference schedule either from the

school's homepage by clicking on "Check Your Schedule" or under "My

School / P/'T Conference". Select the student you wish to schedule a

conference for and then select a date. Click on one of the green squares

to schedule a conference time. Click the "Confirm" button on the pop-up

window to confirm. To show a list of all scheduled conferences for your

family you may click the "Summary" button, or click "Print" to get a printout

of your schedule.

Thanksgiving Break - No School Days

There will be no school Wednesday, November 25; Thursday, November

26; & Friday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving break.

The school office and extended care will also be closed.

Weather Related School Closings

We will be using the text messaging application through Sycamore to

notify you of any delays or closures due to inclement weather. If you have

not yet signed up, we highly recommend you do. Instructions are

attached.

You may also tune in to these stations for school closing announcements.

WHBL 1130AM, WTMJ Channel 4 Milwaukee and WISN Channel 12

Milwaukee. Information will also be posted on Bethlehem's Sycamore

homepage, Facebook and Twitter pages. In addition we will email those

families that have current email addresses on file with the school.

Please DO NOT call or email the school. Answering phones and emails

only prevents us from getting information out to everyone in a timely and

accurate manner.

In the event there is a two-hour delay, there will be no 3K or 4K classes

held that day and extended care will not open before classes begin. If we

close early, extended care will close as well.

Education Consultations at LHS

8th and 7th graders and their parents are invited to schedule an Education

Consultation to see what Sheboygan Lutheran High has to offer.

Take a tour of the school with Principal Bult, ask any questions that you

may have about the school, discuss options for classes, chat about

financial aid, and discover the vast array of extra-curricular activities that

SLHS has to offer, during a private tour* for you and your family!

Cold Weather Clothes

It may not seem like it this week but the cold weather will soon be back.

Please make sure your student(s) have appropriate cold weather clothing

at school (warm jacket, snow pants, mittens/gloves, hat and boots (or

change or shoes if needed).

Free COVID Testing

WI National Guard testing will take place every Wednesday and Friday at

the Sheboygan County Aging and Disability Resource Enter in

Sheboygan Falls.

Testing will not take place on Wednesday, November 11th for Veterans

Day, or on November 26th and 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Testing is free for anyone with symptoms or has been in close contact to a

positive COVID case, however, the National Guard does not turn anyone

away unless they are already at their 300 test capacity for the day.
