Resources: Students will be able to use a dictionary and a grammar/vocabulary reference card on a standard size index card for the constructed response listening/writing exam.
This year’s Spanish I final exam will consist of two parts: the state EOC exam (multiple choice) and a constructed response ATC exam.
The schedule will be as follows:
Friday, May 18th or Monday, May 21st: Spanish I EOC
Tuesday, May 22nd or Wednesday, May 23rd: Constructed Response Exam
Study Session 2: Speaking Section (8 points)
You will take the speaking exam during the second study session. Plan on having 5 -10 minutes dedicated to this task. You will answer four (4) or more of the following questions of your teacher’s choice:
1. ¿Cómo pasaste tus ratos libres el fin de semana pasado?
2. ¿Qué hiciste anoche?
3. ¿Qué vas a hacer el fin de semana que viene?
4. ¿Qué quieres hacer esta noche?
5. ¿Adónde vas esta tarde después de la clase?
6. Cuando estás de vacaciones, ¿qué haces?
7. ¿Qué lugares bonitos conoces para ir de vacaciones?
8. ¿Piensas ir de vacaciones este verano? ¿Adónde? ¿Por qué?
9. ¿Sales mucho? ¿Cuándo sales? ¿Con quién(es)?
10. ¿Sabes hablar otras lenguas? ¿Cuáles?
11. ¿Dónde te gusta ir cuando hace buen tiempo? ¿Por qué?
12. ¿Qué te gusta hacer cuando llueve/nieva?
13. ¿Qué están haciendo tus compañeros/as de clase ahora mismo?
14. ¿Qué están haciendo tus amigos/as en este momento?

Constructed Response Exam: Writing Section and Listening Section
Listening Section: (12 pts.)
You will hear various different recordings and answer multiple choice/short answer questions about each one.
Writing Section (12 pts)
You will answer 3-6 short answer questions in Spanish. Then, you will be asked to respond to one of the following writing prompts IN SPANISH. Students will be allowed to use a Spanish-English dictionary from our class set or a notecard if they like. The rubric is provided below.
Option A: Vacaciones: Write a paragraph with at least six sentences that describes your most recent vacation. Use the preterite tense and vocabulary from lessons 4 – 6.
Option B: Un fin de semana largo: Write one paragraph with at least six sentences that describes your most recent long weekend. Use the preterite tense and vocabulary form lessons 4 – 6.

Objective Response Exam: Grammar/Vocabulary/Reading section
You will be given eighty (80) questions that will explicitly ask you to demonstrate your knowledge of Spanish vocabulary and grammar and reading comprehension. Questions may be multiple choice, matching, true/false or fill in the blank. Use your notebook materials, quizlet and VHL to study.
