Poor are those who have no any skills for social services. Many sorts of skills occupation are waiting to take serve in our society. Due to the lack of skill human resources, our society has been depriving from right serve. Technical Training Centre, Rajshahi is one of the largest and oldest among others technical training center in the history of skills development training in Bangladesh. Major objectives of Rajshahi TTC, is to create national and international standard skilled manpower for local and global market. In the age of globalization and changing technology TTC, Rajshahi is capable to meet the demand of future needs of skilled manpower for development of Bangladesh. Furthermore this TTC is going to be Bangladesh-Korea Technical Training Centre, Rajshahi. About 1.25 million $ GOV and 8.5 million $ will be invested by KOICA for the improvement of machine, equipment, new academic building and dormitory building construction, furniture, teachers training in Korea to generate skills manpower of southern reason. At a time this center will be acted as a Teachers Training Centre. Total area of TTC, Rajshahi is 12.8 acres. The Centre has a good number of well-equipped classrooms, laboratories/conference hall. It has an aesthetic beauty with verdant surrounding provides a perfect environment for training, study, discussion, reflection and introspection. TTC, Rajshahi has also a good library, recreational. Sports facilities in the campus. Medical facilities is also available in the campus. It has modern facilities for conducting training, organizing conferences, seminars and workshops. It has a big auditorium of 300 seated for conducting national and special program.Focus and Range of Special Program:Special program such as teachers training and training for others department,usually conducted in this training center. Besides this, public private partnership (PPP) program is available for various technical trade or occupation. In addition, the center conducts 24 specialized short courses. The prime objectives of these courses are to create skilled manpower for local and overseas employment.Institutional Linkages:TTC, Rajshahi is collaboration with national and international industries/employers/agencies, conducts workshops seminars, training courses, research and case study program Major areas of collaboration include skills development and Human Resource Development (HRD). The Centre is pursuing a wide search to develop further collaboration with other internationally and nationally reputed institutions.Internet and Multimedia Projector facilities Computer Laboratory:TTC, Rajshahi have 5Air-conditioning labs, Internet and Multimedia Projector facilities inComputer Laboratory. Interactive SMART board and SMART class room. TTC, Rajshahi emphasizes the digitilization of its services. Registration of the participants, management of the courses, record keeping and evaluation through online. Online registration is going to be mandatory for all core courses. TTC, Rajshahi is Covered by Wi-Fi technology for their faculty members, participants and the guest speakers for easy access to the internet. E-library and E-desk is also on the move.Class rooms are equipped with multimedia TV. Library:The TTC, Rajshahi library is considered as one of the richest libraries among all the TTC’s in the country. It has an impressive collection of books and journals on emerging from home and abroad. The Library also offers bibliographical information services. The Centre has its own publications. Computer Centre:The Computer Centre of TTC, Rajshahi is fully equipped with brand PCs of 90 MBPS broad-band internet connection. Participants and faculty are eligible for using .Medical Facilities:The Center has medical section and maintains a clinic with limited medical facilities. Trainees are given free medical treatment, prescriptions and limited items of medicine. Medicine also provides in case of emergency.Prayer Facilities:/The Center has a beautiful mosque within its premises where Muslim offer their daily prayers.
