Job Purpose

The Warehouse Operative's responsibility is to work within a very busy and reactive warehouse, assisting the Warehouse Manager as necessary. This role requires you to unload/count and to book in goods, locate stock into correct locations and to ensure all parts orders are picked and packed quickly and efficiently with good attention to detail and accuracy. Due to the nature of the role, there will be heavy lifting involved.

Key Responsibilities ? Process goods in and out using ERP system (full training given) ? Maintaining and electronically recording Stock Control within the warehouse (paper back-up) ? Placing of receipted goods into the correct locations ? Accurate and timely picking of components for Production, Engineering or other departments as required ? Facilitate movement and storage of stocks including completed machines and sub-assemblies ? Loading and unloading of all delivery vehicles ? Health and Safety Awareness ? Maintain good housekeeping (5S) ? Carry out Stock Counts as required
