Dear Members and Friends of RPPC,

Since the beginning of the year the Session and other church leaders have been hard at work crafting a vision for the future of Roland Park Presbyterian Church. In the coming months you will be hearing much more about the plan that has been developed around our church’s new vision statement: “Pursuing justice, practicing hospitality and engaging curious faith in a 21st century world.” By now you may have noticed some of the new activities we have rolled out at RPPC as a part the plan to carry out this vision. Many more initiatives, along with the ongoing education, worship, mission and other work of the church, will be made possible by your generous support of the church during this year’s annual giving campaign.

The campaign kicks off this week with the theme “LEAD THE WAY!” which was borrowed from radio commentator, motivational speaker and author Steve Maraboli. Steve once said, "Don't wait for other people to be loving, giving, compassionate, grateful, forgiving, generous, or friendly...LEAD THE WAY!" It is this attitude we expect from our church leadership and hope for from every member of RPPC.

Help “Lead the Way,” and make your annual pledge or gift for 2020 as soon as you are able. Then express your commitment by completing and returning the enclosed estimate of giving card by Sunday, December 1st. I invite you to 1) bring your card to Sunday service, 2) mail it to church in the enclosed envelope, or 3) make your intentions known securely through the RPPC website: .

We are depending on you to lead the way.

Sincerely yours,

Neil McCabe, Chair
