CGG3O - Travel and Tourism: Course Culminating ActivityDescriptionThroughout this course you have learned about many aspects of tourism. In the course culminating activity you will research a destination you would like to travel to. Then you will write four blog/journal entries from this location describing the sights and sounds of the place along with some details about places you visited and how you adhered to your personal travel code. You will choose a travel scenario that will guide how you will plan your trip details. To give your journal/blog a sense of realism spend time outside class, reading, researching, and reflecting. Task OverviewThere are 6 main parts of this culminating activity:Traveler Profile – A description of who you are (real or made up) and the type of tourism you will be engaged in.Destination Profile – Basic information about your destination and the places you’ll visit.Develop a Personal Travellers Code – how do you plan on being and ethical/responsible traveller?Trip Logistics – Where will you stay? How will you get around? How much does it cost to fly there?Travel Blog/Journal with Photos* – 4 written blog/journal entries with pictures.
