GENERAL RULES

By submitting a registration form, you are indicating that the participant will abide by all rules and guidelines. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. In addition, any participant or attendee showing disrespect to individuals or property will be dismissed from the event at the director's discretion.

1. All content must be appropriate and be Godly in theme, meaning it reflects the message of Jesus. We believe that both the individual and the presentation can reflect Jesus, and we want presentations at Kids Fine Arts to be prepared with that in mind.

2. Omissions will be allowed for group performances; however, on-site additions are not allowed. A substitute may be included in a group entry, but must pay full entry fees and fill out a registration form as well. There will be no substitutions for solo/individual entries. Entry fees are nontransferable and nonrefundable.

3. Participants will be expected to be on time for their performances. If a participant is not on time, he/she will be skipped. If there is additional time slots after all performances, these participants may be permitted to perform ? but it is not guaranteed.

4. We don't want to be the dress code police, but please try to dress modestly. We understand that some dance wear may be different, but for the most part try to keep outfits at finger-tip length or longer ? and no cropped tops.

5. Choir and Instrumental Ensembles are the only categories where a conductor/director will be allowed during the presentation. Standing in the back of the room giving cues is not allowed for any other entries.

6. It is the responsibility of the participant, parent, and the church Kids Fine Arts Coordinator to ensure they are completely ethical and legal regarding copyrighted music, scripts, or any other original published or unpublished work.

7. ALL music must be on a digital device with an output jack such as MP3, iPhone, iPod, etc. A cord will be provided.

8. For individual entries, each participant should introduce themselves before they perform. For group entries, one person should be designated to give the introduction.

CLOSING CEREMONY

At the end of the day, we will have a ceremony beginning approximately 15 minutes after the last participant has performed. Certain entries will be selected to perform during the closing ceremony, but not all participants or categories will be selected.

We strive to use this time to highlight unique entries, various churches, and entries that we feel represent the purpose behind Kids Fine Arts. There will be a board near the registration table where those chosen to perform will be posted towards the end of the day. If you have been chosen, you will need to check in with the desk to confirm and submit any music/props necessary for your performance

The purpose of these forms is to give participants feedback on positive points as well as any areas where they could improve.
