1 What is an emergency?

Emergency situations can feel scary so today we are going to learn some ways to be prepared for what to do in an emergency. There are many different types of emergency and for big emergencies we may need to call 000 and get help from the Fire Service, Police or Ambulance.

- Sometimes it may be the fire service who helps us in an emergency. - Firefighters are brave and have special equipment to help them when

they fight fires.

2 Share the story:

3 Learn to sign fire fighters (Auslan):



4 Practice Stop Drop and Roll:



5 Decorate the flame outline - you can finger paint with red, yellow and/or

orange paint; you can colour with pencils/textas or crayons or you can use tissue paper and scrunch and paste. Share a photo of your flame art with your teacher.
