Connecting a camera direct to computer

1. Connect Crossover cable between Pc and camera

2. Use EasyIpSetup.exe software to “see” the camera

Record the MAC address, this will be put into the router later DHCP

3. Input some settings to setup the camera to talk with the computer

4. Now change the settings of your computer

5. Connect to the IP camera in a browser (allow popups etc)

URL:[192.168.1.101:80]

6. To access settings: USR = admin; PASS = 12345

7. Now change settings back to dynamic for operation with the router that will be used and plug camera into ETH1.

8. Setup the device to be configured by the router (DHCP).

9. Configure the router to do port forwarding.

10. Connect to camera through rounter:

11. Access the setup screen and make the following changes under camera setup to limit the bandwidth (max bit rate per client) of the transmission (note: in the future it may be possible to achieve higher than 128Kbps per client)

12. If audio is desired set the audio is desired set to MIC input and lowest audio bit rate.

13. In the image position tab, setup the image adjust and turn the red gain, blue gain, and chroma gain level completely down (all zero).

14. Under Network setup limit the Total bit rate to 256Kbps or just one setting higher than that which was set for the max bit rate per client (in step 11)

15. Your camera is now setup.
