SALES ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION

PROFILE

The Sales Associate is the most critical link in ensuring that our customers have a rewarding experience that will keep them coming back time after time. The Sales Associate must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, meet hourly selling and customer capture goals, provide product knowledge to our customers and work as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Consumer Experience.

Provide outstanding customer service to each customer by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid Oakley product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service as deemed necessary.

Advise customers by providing them information on products. Aid customers in locating merchandise and assist in ringing up sales at registers.

Drive for Results.

Achieve high levels of sales performance and results by finding the right solutions for customers based on individual needs.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related sales goal objectives.

Operational Skills.

Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping of sales floor and stock room.

Monitor inventories and purchase stocks of merchandise as appropriate.

Product Knowledge.

Demonstrate technical product information to customers to provide an ELITE experience Stay current on latest technology to maintain professional knowledge and speak to the benefits of each

product.

QUALIFIERS

Ability to exhibit professionalism when working with the public. Must have effective interpersonal communication skills. Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to open and/or close the store, including

nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures. Ability to learn and operate current company POS systems. Ability to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room. Maintain a

presentable and well-dressed appearance in addition to being honest with each customer.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing and typing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
