We are the authority on ovarian cancer. We work with women, family members and health professionals to ensure we target the areas that matter most for those living and working with ovarian cancer.

Together with the ovarian cancer community, we are transforming the future for women in the UK who are living with ovarian cancer and thousands more who are yet to be diagnosed. But there is so much more to do. We will not stop until we have achieved our goal of doubling survival from ovarian cancer by 2050.

Target Ovarian Cancer is looking for someone to take our marketing plans to the next level, supporting our current business plan. Do you have the passion and flair to amplify our ambitious plans to significantly increase our reach, impact and income? Could you lead the growth in our external profile and help us engage more people affected by ovarian cancer?

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

To lead the organisation's marketing and brand engagement work, as defined by the business plan, annual objectives and KPIs.

This includes:

Building Target Ovarian Cancer's reputation as the leading ovarian cancer charity, ensuring everyone affected by ovarian cancer knows how we can help them, and how they can help us.

Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to ensure we reach and engage with a significantly greater share of our key audiences, and to amplify our income, our voice and our profile, particularly through our digital channels.

Developing and implementing a comprehensive brand proposition to ensure Target Ovarian Cancer is the first point of call for anyone affected by ovarian cancer.

Ensuring that women with ovarian cancer are seen and heard in all our marketing and brand activities, leading the way in ensuring representation at all levels.

Leading strategic marketing initiatives, including integrated campaigns, from strategy, planning, implementation and evaluation to deliver our organisational objectives ? including fundraising, campaigning and service provision.

Collaborating across the organisation to lead coordinated marketing activities, ensuring joined up external messaging. Develop relationships to coach marketing skill sets and training provision as required.

Developing and delivering digital marketing content to engage all audiences, and working with content producers across the organisation.

Effectively managing external suppliers (paid and pro bono) where required to complement the skills of the in house team, ensuring brand consistency and value for money.

Leading our external advertising programme, including managing relationships with our print and outdoor pro bono providers.

Developing and managing the collation of accurate measures of marketing activity and brand impact to demonstrate ROI and sector benchmarking where appropriate.

Leading our brand development, reflecting our values across our look and feel, including guides and templates, and producing corporate resources such as banners and organisational materials.

Regularly measuring our impact: seeking, collating and evaluating structured and informal feedback on marketing and brand activities in order to inform effective future planning.
